Chis Brown and Drake’s W.i.P. Fight in New York…The Story So Far

Well, I tried to ignore this as long as possible (especially because there was nothing concrete for awhile), but there is just too much to turn away from now. Early Thursday, Drake and C-Breezy reportedly scuffled in the NYC night club known as “W.i.P.” It is unknown exactly what transpired but I will at least fill you in on what has gone down thus far…

We think the argument had to do with Rihanna (Breezy’s ex…you all know about that) because Drake has had some interesting lyrics in a song or two about Rihanna which as we know CB didn’t take a liking to as we saw when the two had a spat over social media. but then that was that. So this didn’t come as a huge surprise. Lets go through how everything went down

How did they ended up in NYC let along the same club in the first place? Drake was in town on his Club Paradise tour and his night began at the MMG Self-Made Vol. II listening party at the NYC strip club Sin City. Drake was there to show support given his history with Rawse and his new “Amen” single with Meek Mill. After the event Drake’s entourage and the MMG crew went their separate ways.

The next dtop for Drizzy and his entourage was to W.i.P., where plenty of artists were already in attendance: Mary J. Blige. Ne-Yo, Fabolous, Adrienne Bailon, Juelz Santana, Meek Mill and Breezy and his entourage. Chris Brown has been in NYC promoting his upcoming album, Fortune. He has made rounds on the Today Show, 106 & Park, radio shows and has even worked with the one and only Rihanna during this time.

The issue between Drizzy and Chris appears to be all about a love triangle with Rihanna. Drake collaborated with the R&B/ Pop star on her smash hit “What’s My Name,” and more recently, his song “Take Care” has widely been quoted expressing his feelings for her. They’ve also been rumored to have dated…obviously CB wasn’t feeling this.

According to W.i.P. club promoter Breezy sent Drizzy a bottle of Cristal. Details and facts get hazy here, but it is reported that Drake sent the bottle back to CB with a note that read, “I’m fuckin’ the love of your life, deal with it.” After this occurred a war of words started between the two respective entourages and at first the verbal exchanges and level of animosity went unnoticed as W.i.P isn’t set up where everyone is staring at celebs in the V.I.P. Things escalated quickly and all of a sudden…with fists being thrown and bottles, buckets, and tables flying.

Who exactly threw which bottles and who punched whom has yet to be determined. (And for the record, the YouTube clip that supposedly shows the fight in progress was aired on Good Morning America today is a fake that was not even shot in the same club). But the aftermath of the fight revealed that several were injured during the fight.

Breezy has been cooperating with authorities and his attorney and they claim that Drake was indeed involved in the altercation and claim to have physical evidence that supports that notion. This is the exact opposite of what we have heard from the Drake camp…”Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.I.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. [Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

Meek Mill was allegedly caught up in the mix up, but nothing concrete has come up to light that points the finger at the young MMG artist. Neither Drake, CB, or Meek have been identified yet as suspects in the case. Reports have described Brown as “a witness and a victim,” although the NYPD has not clarified the matter as yet.

Drake is set to continue his Club Paradise tour at New York’s Jones Beach tomorrow, while Chris will press on promoting Fortune. Today, Breezy Instagrammed a picture of himself with with chin looking in much better condition. “A1,” he captioned the picture.

Coincidentally, “A1″ is also the title of a recent Meek Mill song that features a line about Rihanna. “My new young chick look exactly like Rihanna,” Meek raps on the Dreamchasers 2 cut. And so far the girl who’s allegedly at the center of it all has remained silent as well.

For some reason TMZ thought it would be a good idea to ask Game about the beef. He had a few things to say, but then noted beef like this is for the birds.

Tony Parker also was at W.i.P. and suffered an eye injury which will keep him from training for the Olympics for seven days
