The new iPad

Hey guys is JP here SR. Tech Editor at RawHustle and in a past post we covered the rumors and myths about the upcoming iPad 3 but the future is now here and now i bring you “The new iPad” as Apple announced the new version of this iconic device. The new iPad is the old and new king of the tablet market and now is even better than before.

Like we predicted in our past post the device sports a more tapered enclosure with a slightly heavier frame and a Retina display that is twice the resolution of the old iPad, and iPad 2, But also has  higher resolution than you HDTV (1920×1080 = 1080p) making this device the most amazing display with the highest resolution in a mobile device ever. The display is so sharp and crisp that is hard to compare it to anything else, the display is just in a level of its own. Colors and lines are just amazing. This display will soon be your favorite TV in the house. I could not keep myself away from it to watch real heavy HD content, even the heaviest movies played good.

The 5 MegaPixels  with advance optics camera takes some pretty good shots even in low light the camera showed some impressive shots and the video look pretty good too. I am not going to lie the iPad takes some nice shots and video but is awkward to work with and its ok to be that way this device is not meant to be some sort of camera, is more like a multimedia powerhouse with some UGC (user created content) capabilities.

I got my hands on the 16GB WiFi black and a 16GB WiFi+LTE 4G AT&T  white and so far i love them, but i wish they would have just made one model that supports all 4G LTE bands but they did not. I think due to chip limitations.

I will not review the software because iOS 5.1 does not bring any major features or changes, just some enhancements. Everything work as it did in the iPad 2, smooth and flawless. The device feels a bit heavier but for good and not a big difference. Sound is a bit better, but i don’t know if its done on a software base and the speakers are the same as the ones found in the iPad 2 or if they are an actual hardware upgrade. Battery life is incredible, I played, watch videos and load every single app in the device for hours and i was only at 80% of my battery life in the WiFi version. This is the device to take with you everywhere without any worries about battery.

So far the new iPad is awesome and fast. The experience is like no other and more app are getting updated for the super high definition screen every minute. If you’re in the market for a tablet, then forget looking at reviews and comparing other tablets. iPad has the best customer experience all around hands down. We recommend you take a look at it and if you are thinking about getting one, then get the one with LTE 4G. This days we are relying every time more and more in other types of communications and certainly with a device like this and with the vast availability of feature rich apps, who needs a phone anymore? i have spent the day using the iPad and i left my iPhone 4S at home, I did made a call but i used Skype so you can go all day without a phone with this device without a problem.
